Teach Your Child to Read Workshop

Join us for a workshop with Dr. Michael D. Hixson, Ph.D., BCBA-D, School Psychologist. Dr. Hixson is a professor at Central Michigan University who periodically works with children who are struggling academically.
 
This workshop will teach parents and caregivers how to teach beginning reading skills to their children. The workshop may also be helpful to parents whose children are behind in early reading skills. The training will cover the basics of early reading and describe options for teaching early reading. In particular, the workshop will teach interested persons how to use the book Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons to teach your child to read. Any and all are welcome to attend.
