Program Description

Join us for two screening opportunities of Iconic America: Our Symbols and Stories with David Rubenstein. Each screener will consist of four abbreviated episodes, with today's event showing the last four episodes about the Statue of Liberty, the American Bald Eagle, Stone Mountain, and the Golden Gate Bridge. The screener will run on a loop every 30 minutes starting at 2 p.m., with the last showing beginning at 6:30 p.m. Refreshments will be available while supplies last.

ICONIC AMERICA: OUR SYMBOLS AND STORIES WITH DAVID RUBENSTEIN examines the history of America through some of its most iconic symbols, objects, and places, diving deep into each symbol's history and how its meaning has changed over time — using them as a gateway to understanding America's past and present. People live alongside and interact with history daily, from flags and statues to revered landmarks. These are the stories of the country's history and also the story of America today.

Attendees can enter a drawing for a chance to win a Chromecast, a year's subscription to PBS, and other prizes.
