Program Description

Learn more about France through cooking and reading! Our good friend Wiline Pangle, native French speaker and current community resident, has helped us put together a special kit for you full of items that remind her of home. In your kit you’ll receive a recipe and ingredients* to make a traditional French pastry...Madeline cookies! Along with information on the French language and culture. 

The first 10 registrants will also receive a free copy of the book "Le Loup est Revenu"  (The Wolf is Back), a French family favorite by Geoffrey de Pennart.

Please register only once per family.

Kits will be available to pick up at your library branch starting on September 9th, registered kits not picked up within seven days will be distributed to patrons on the waitlist.

*Not included in kit: 4 eggs and 1 1/4 cup butter
