Family Heirlooms: Preserving our Family Histories

How does your family and community history connect to your American Creed?

Join Mattie Dugan, MLIS, Conservator, and Artist for Moonshadow Bindery, as she shares her knowledge of historic preservation. Patrons may submit information about an heirloom prior to the event and share the significance of the item with others during the zoom meeting. Mattie will make recommendations for storing and caring for each piece so they might last for generations to come. Mattie will also explain how to store fabrics such as the American flag, quilts, and military uniforms.
