Program Description

Help others while creating beautiful arts and crafts with us! At this event, we'll put ourselves in the shoes of people with visual impairments and design art with them in mind. In addition to creating fun 3D art to take home with you, you'll be helping us create an interactive, touchable alphabet book display for everyone in the library to use!

Drop in anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to participate!

Our partnership with the Build a Better Book organization at the University of Colorado Boulder a National Science Foundation grant-recipient group that trains teachers and librarians to bring accessibility programming into their communities. You can learn more about Build a Better Book here.
