Program Description

Celebrate Chinese New Year and learn more about Chinese culture and the Mandarin Chinese language through food and reading! Chinese friends living in our local community have helped us put together a special kit for you. In your kit you’ll receive authentic Chinese food and snack items themed around the Chinese New Year , as well as Sing Along with Miao Miao, a children's nursery rhyme book written in Mandarin and English! You will also get special information on how to speak in a few Mandarin phrases!

Kits will be available to pick up at your library branch starting on January 20th, registered kits not picked up within seven days will be distributed to patrons on the waitlist.
