Program Description

Nic Stone is an African American author of young adult and middle-grade fiction, best known for her debut novel Dear Martin and her middle-grade novel, Clean Getaway. In addition, she recently completed three novels based on the Marvel character Shuri from the Black Panther series. Having grown up with a diverse culture, religion, and background, Nic Stone will bring the diverse voices and stories from these experiences to the event.

This event will be held offsite on the campus of Central Michigan University in Plachta Auditorium.
