Program Description

Learn more about Anishinaabe culture and language through cooking and reading! Our friends at the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe's Anishinaabe Language Revitalization Department have helped us put together a special kit for you. In your kit you’ll receive a recipe and ingredients* to make a traditional Anishinaabe dish! You will also get special information on how to speak in  Anishinaabemowin!

Please register only once per family.

Kits will be available to pick up at your library branch starting on September 18, registered kits not picked up within seven days will be distributed to patrons on the waitlist.

*perishable items will not included in kit
