American Creed: Button Making

The visual arts have played a central role in the history of our democracy. Artistic creativity is vital to everything from campaign posters and buttons to political advertisements. Drop by For Arts Sake on Tuesday, Oct. 19, between 3 - 6 p.m. to create a button to support a cause or issue significant to you or design a button that reflects your American Creed. Pre-designed patriotic and library-themed buttons will also be available to color and assemble.
