Book-loving families in Central Michigan will have the chance to step into a good story and enjoy an interactive experience in Isabella County.
Chippewa River District Library is launching a StoryWalk location at Isabella Township Park (Locust Street, Rosebush).
Families can walk the trail and travel around the park to view each page and take part in activities. The path is both easily visible and walkable for young readers.
The current featured title is "My Heart Fills with Happiness” by Monique Gray Smith, illustrated by Julie Flett. More books are in the works and are expected to rotate seasonally.
Funds for the StoryWalk are provided in part by the Mt. Pleasant Area Community Foundation funds of: The James Dale Ervin Memorial Fund, Robert and Geraldine Krapohl Literacy Fund, The Mary Ellen Brandell Access to Recreation Fund, and Friends of the Faith Johnston Memorial Library.
